1. For IME Exam requested by IRCC, bring passport and IMM 1017 letter.

2. For upfront medical exam, bring your passport.

Return for interview letter (IMM 5985 letter) and passport.


An Ontario driver’s license can be used if you do not have a valid passport.


Bring any medical records you have regarding past or present illnesses.


We will take your photo.


After your exam you will go for a chest x-ray (11 years and older) at Kingston Imaging at 797 Princess, unit 422.


Then you will go for blood work at LifeLabs next door at 791 Princess St unit 102 (15 years and older). No fasting is required. 


You will need 1.5 to 2.5 hours to complete all testing.


The date of your examination will be used by IRCC for deadline purposes. 

Your exam will be sent to IRCC within 10 days.

Make sure you bring all the required documents listed in Frequently Asked Questions.


A parent or a legal guardian must accompany applicants under 15.


Before leaving we will provide a copy of your information sheet with your case number and picture on it. You can then track your examination through the IRCC website.

  • $250.00 for an Adult Medical Exam 
  • $200.00 for children 15 and under.

If Dr. Langley finds any abnormalities in your medical results, he will contact you. Otherwise, he will submit your medical and test results to IRCC via e-Medical within 10 days after you have completed your blood work and x-ray.
